4 months old!

Hannah is already 4 months old!!! I can hardly believe it! She is getting so big, so fast! At her 4 month appointment she was 13lbs. 13oz and 2ft tall, she was in the 75% for height and weight. She is a lot smaller than Abby was at this age, but she is healthy and happy! Abby was just a BIG baby!

Hannah loves to sit in her exasaucer, and play with toys, or more like play with anything she can stick in her mouth. She still sucks her thumb all the time, and we still think it's pretty cute!

Hannah is all full of smiles and giggles. Grandma Cheryl discovered that Hannah is supper ticklish on her feet, and that always gets lots of giggles out of her. She loves watching Abby, and loves when Abby lays next to her and reads to her.

At 3 months Hannah had a bad ear infection, and it finally feels like she is better from that, and is a LOT happier baby. She is doing well, and we are so blessed to have 2 amazing little girls!

Come to the Circus.....

....The greatest show in town..come to the circus!
Abby enjoyed her first circus on Saturday. We got to go with all of her cousins and that was just icing on the cake. She sat for the whole show enjoying every moment. The snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn made it even better. We all had a great time. Thanks to Grandma Cheryl watching Hannah both Todd and I got to enjoy watching Abby enjoy her first circus and we had a great time too! Abby's favorite was the Elephants and the lights (all the toy lights when they turned the lights out).

Ladybug fun!

Mom's club had a fun park playdate where the kids where able to 'release' ladybugs! The ladybugs where everywhere! Abby had a great time at first, and even had one on her finger, but after it flew away - she got scared and that was that, she took off to play at the park. Hannah was intrigued with the ladybug crawling up my arm. It was a fun day at the park.

Early Birthday Gift!

Mommy and Grandma Cheryl got Abby an early birthday present! Thanks to craigslist, I got a great deal on this older version barbie powerwheels. We spent some time teaching her how to drive it, she has a hard time understanding the steering, but she will get it! Hannah even got in on the action (with Mommy right there of course)

Pretty girl!

Hannah had a REALLY good weekend compared to the last month. We are making changes, and with her ear infection (hopefully better) and she seems to be having better nights, and a LOT less screaming in pain. She has been our happy girl again, and we have been really able to enjoy her personality and our beautiful baby girl.

Movie weekend

It was a rainy weekend, so we spent most of the weekend getting odd/end projects done, watching movies and relaxing! Abby watched her new Diego/Dora video (notice the chocolate on her cheek from M&M's in her popcorn). Hannah took a nap during movie time! (notice her crazy hair!!!!)

Mommy intuition

We have been struggling for over a month with our little Hannah. She has been for the most party unhappy and having several days of just screaming in pain. I have spent several nights in acute care for sure that she had an ear infection, to me she had all the signs. I was told one visit it was just colic, another that she was teething, and another that she had influenza. I always went home thinking, that maybe it is just her reflux, and would be something we would be dealing with for a while.

I would always end up in acute care, because the morning she would be fine, but as the day progressed she would get worse and worse, to the point that in the evening she would be screaming and we could do nothing to stop it. It is one of the most frustrating things to have your baby cry and not be able to fix it.

Last night we had one of these nights again. She was screaming in pain, and I could do nothing to make it better. I once again, took her to acute care, for sure that nothing would happen, but hoping for some help. I actually thought she might have RSV, as her nose has been running and she has been really congested. When we got there the doctor discovered she has a severe ear infection. It was so bad, they gave her an antibiotic shot to start things healing immediately. Almost the whole time we where at the doctor's she cried, after they gave her the shot and some pain medicine she fell asleep and for the first time in over a month looked really peaceful.

We are hoping and praying that maybe this has been the problem for the last month. I spoke to her pediatrician who assured me that sometimes they can't see an infection brewing in their small eardrums, and that it could very well be why she has been so upset. It made me so sad at acute care that not only was Hannah crying - Mommy was crying. I felt so relieved that my Mommy intuition was right...that I was not crazy.....and I was sad she has been in so much pain....

Please keep my little Hannah in your prayers that she will continue to feel better, and that this is the end to her pain.

Easter Dinner

We had the traditional family dinner at Pat and Tom's house on Sunday night. Abby and Hannah had a great time playing with all their cousins! The food was super yummy, I brought a lemon pie, chocolate pie and a cherry cheesecake! Yummy! And the weather was even nice enough for the kids to play outside for a while!

Flower girls...

Hannah enjoyed being a bunny, but was having nothing to do with being a flower girl! Abby on the other-hand enjoyed showing off her flower petals! She even had to keep it on while she was going through her Easter basket from Mommy and Daddy.

Abby got a new princess bike helmet and some new princess Dora pajamas (along with candy and other fun stuff) for Easter, she was super happy with her basket!

My little bunny fu-fu!

We had fun playing with Hannah taking pictures, it's so nice to have a subject that can't run away from me! Daddy even gave her a carrot to hold to make the look complete. With those cheeks, she made a very cute little bunny fu-fu!

Easter Mass

We went to Easter Mass at St. Therese. Abby's Grams and Gramps where there as well as her cousins. They spent most of the Mass in the nursery as they where wired from Easter candy! But it was fun to go to church together as a family and remember what Easter is really about.

Easter Egg Hunt!

The Easter Egg hunt was so much fun this year, as Abby really was into finding eggs!! She kept saying "the Easter bunny was here!" She was so excited to run around and find all her eggs, and had even more fun opening them up and eating the candy.
