Abby Updates..

Our little Abby is getting so big! At her one year appointment she was 24 lbs!!! She is developmentally doing awesome -she says TONS of words, her newest being - Love you (wuv u), please (cheese), apple, milk and just this week she started saying a hard one - her friends name - Amalee (she says it amaee).

Early this month she wasn't feeling well and we took her in to the pediatrician. It ended up she had RSV. It was a rough few weeks, but she is doing MUCH better now, and is feeling great! After some testing we also found out right now she does for sure have a milk allergy -but as long as she has soy milk, she does fine!

We also started out the year busy - still involved in MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) and I also joined a bible study on Tuesday mornings. We also have our Mommy's group who gets together at the mall once a week. Abby also likes to at least spend one day a week playing with Amalee.

That's all the Abby updates we have right now! Our little girl is growing up and every day we are amazed at something new she can do or say!

My new baby....

This month we got a new vehicle!!!! (new to us anyways!) We got a 2003 Saturn Vue - and I LOVE it!!! It's has so much room than the Camry and it's so exciting to have a CD player in my vehicle and to be able to remote unlock the doors, I love it!
Me and my new SUV! Whooo-hoooo!
(Abby's first time in the car wash - she was so scared of it - we had to take her out of her car seat while it was going to calm her down!)

Christmas Day at Pat & Toms

Christmas Day was lots of fun for Abby playing with all her cousins and all the new toys they all got! Todd had came down with a stomach bug that morning, so he didn't have much fun - but he stayed and rested downstairs most of the day so that Abby could still be there and play with her cousins!

Christmas Eve at Robin's!

After Christmas Eve service we went over to Robin's house!! This year Robin and Kevin made a "not so traditional" Christmas eve meal - which was awesome, as we have had a lot of ham and turkey!! They made Ribs, loaded bake potatoes, corn, bakes beans, and all the fixings!! It was super yummy.

Our Gingerbread house!

We can't forget pictures of all of our hard work!!! This gingerbread house proved to be a challenge for us - but we had lots of fun in the process, and it turned out pretty darn cute if you ask any of us!!!

Christmas at Gandma's house!

We celebrated Christmas at my Mom's this year with Justin, Holly, Dave, Matthew, KC & Josh. Abby was especially excited when she opened her present from Grandma - her animal train!!! We all ate way to much (including several batches of Mom's homemade buns out of the oven -yummy!!!) and had tons of fun opening presents (of course!!!)

Christmas Baking 2007!

This year Tiffani and I baked some Holiday goodies like we have done the last few years! We have had lots of fun starting this tradition. We where a little more tired than in years past (before babies) so I think we where a little more goofy!!! We had lots of fun trying a new recipe - making reindeer cookies - they didn't exactly turn out like the ones in the magazine - but they where pretty darn cute - in their own way, and tasty too!
