Amy's Promotion

It was officially announced today - my promotion within the company to Senior Secretary - Wish me luck!!!

This was the Announcement that went out:

Beginning January 30, Amy Anawski will be the new Senior Secretary for the Department of Internal Medicine. Amy will continue her role as Faculty Advocate and will also assume the responsibility of managing the 3rd and 4th Year Medical Student Education program within the department.

Happy Monday!

Well, it's Monday...again..but we will survive!! This weekend was an interesting but fun one for Todd and I. On Saturday I went to a Birthday/Anniversary get together at Debbie & Larry's. It was lots of fun...but I felt like the pressure to have a baby was huge at this event, with all the pregnant women, and the ones who weren't pregnant were talking about when they are going to start trying....it was a little overwhelming!! But it was fun, I got to spend time with all the kids, and of course my Lily, so it was a blast.

Saturday evening Mom and I met up with Dave, Todd, and Dave's kids, back at Todd and I's house, and the boys played while Mom and I made taco's for dinner....It was fun, but the boys where kind of obnoxious (by boys I mean Todd) and I was tired..so I was a little cranky!!! But all in all we had a good time....

Sunday I spent the day making tie fleece blankets with Todd's Mom and Sister. It was fun to show them how to make them...but I was ready for bed by the time I got home, we had a really relaxing night watching the Simpsons and Family guy...and went to bed!!!

Another weekend come and gone!!!! 9 days before I leave for California!! Whoo-hooo!!!

It's January! A New Year!!

Well, It's January 2006 - A new year full of all kinds of opportunities to change the things we messed up on the year before!!!

Neither Todd or I set ourselves with specific resolutions, we both think those seem to just fizzle out, but of course be both have some ongoing goals we will be working on - church every Sunday, eating better, exercise, the list goes on and on and on!

We wish all our friends and family an amazing new year - I hope you all can take a minute and stop and smell the roses as the years are flying by!!!

My first Blog....

So here's the deal....I was bored at work, and Todd (my wonderful husband) suggested I start a blog to take up some of the spare time! So here I am, and here it is!!! I am hoping this will be a fun tool for my friends and family to keep up to date on the Newlywed Anawski world (aka: the nut house!)
