On the move...

I was in no rush for Hannah to start crawling. With Abby I worked with her, and pushed her determined to get her a head start. With no helping from us, Hannah decided to start crawling all on her own, and even earlier than Abby! At 7 months Hannah is crawling like crazy, and she is definitely on the move!

Pickin' raspberries!

Our Moms club playgroup got together for a play date in Brookings where we picked raspberries. They must have been good raspberries, because I didn't end up getting to bring any home, they all ended up in Abby and Keeley's belly! The girls had fun though running around, picking (and eating) the berries and chasing the farm cats running around.

The BIG Zoo!

We went on Saturday to the BIG Zoo (as Abby calls it) and the girls (and us) and a great time!!! Abby's favorite was the shark and the fish. Hannah liked the ice cream, and Mommy and Daddy just enjoyed the day outside in the sunshine.

Girls just want to have fun!

It was 'supposed' to be nap time. The girls where quiet way to fast, so I went in and found the girls like this. Abby had put all the stuffed animals she could find in Hannah's crib, jumped in and they where giggling like crazy! I couldn't help but just laugh and join in with the giggling girls!

We are still hanging on to any bit of summer we can around here! Every nice day we spend it from sun up to sun down outside!! Right now Abby's favorite things to do are ride her bike, draw with chalk and ride with Daddy on his scooter (not one of Mommy's favorites...) Hannah is loving her little red car, being pushed around outside.

Fair time!!!!!!!

Every year we go to the fair! It has been one of my favorite things to do in the summer since I was little. We went this year with Mandee, Audrich and Amalee. Abby had a great time at the Old McDonald farm. We watched Phil Baker sing, and than of course had yummy fair food. I even got to go out later that night to the fair with some of my girlfriends - it was so much fun!

Yay for Grandma Cheryl!!!

We are so lucky to have my Mom! She came with us to the wedding to help with the girls so we could really enjoy the wedding and the dance. She took the girls home when they got tired so we could stay and than let Todd and I sleep in the next morning since we where up so late - she is amazing - we love her so much!

Susan and Jeff Wedding!

Saturday Susan and Jeff (aka: Cool Aunt Suzie and Jeffy) got married! It was a beautiful ceremony at the Brandon Golf course. Everything was beautiful, and the bride and groom where beaming! It was so much fun to have a reason to dance and celebrate - we all danced and laughed all night long.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

This week we celebrated Todd and my Moms birthday by going out to lunch at Lone Star. Mom and Todd where in heaven eating steak and potato for lunch (I had a salad). We all enjoyed the big ice cream, brownie sundae's - even Hannah!!! (thanks to Uncle Justin)

I love every day with my girls, and try to really "enjoy the journey" with them, not getting lost in the day to day and missing out on the little things that make us truly happy!

Things my girls did this week that made me smile when I least expected it was watching Hannah giggle with glee when she had her first bath in the 'big girl' ducky tub!

Abby's latest favorite tv show, and books and everything is Clifford! She can read her Clifford books over and over again. She makes me smile every time she starts singing the Clifford theme song.

I was taking pictures of Hannah while she took a bath in the sink and it reminded me of a picture my Mom had framed and up in our house growing up. I put the pictures side by side and I think Hannah and I really look alike!!! What do you think?

Air Guard Tour!

Mom's club had an awesome tour of the Air Guard that Abby and I went to today. (Hannah stayed home with Melody and Lily - yay!) Abby and I had a blast watching the jets take off, sitting in a jet, pushing buttons in a air base fire truck, it was all a blast!
