Vacation!

 

 

 

 

We took a little vacation to Omaha this summer! We stayed at a fun hotel called CoCo Keys (An anniversary present from my Mom!) The girls loved the water park. Mommy and Daddy even went down all the big slides and Grandma Cheryl enjoyed the hot tub!!! The girls had fun sleeping in the hotel (even though they didn't actually sleep a lot!) And still talk about CoCo Keys a lot - we will have to go back someday for sure!

both my girls are such girlie girls!!! They love dresses and skirts that spin, dressing up in Mommys high heels and anything else girlie! Love my little princesses!

Turner County Fair!

 

 

 

 

One of our favorite things we did this summer was take the girls to the Turner County Fair. It was a hot night - but the girls had a blast! Abbys favorite was riding the big ferris wheel with Daddy (Hannah was really upset she wasn't tall enough to ride on the ferris wheel!). Hannah got to ride a lot of other little rides and loved seeing all the animals. They even had a camel at the petting farm area!!

Preschool!

 

 

 

Abby started preschool in August! She goes to a new preschool called Room to Bloom. Her teachers are Mrs. Janelle and Mrs. Katy! She loves it!!! Every day she asks if she can go to preschool.

4th of July weekend!

Happy 4th of July

We had so much fun this 4th of July. We did fireworks - the girls loved the smoke bombs and sparklers. Than we went to Flandreau for the big fireworks show. I love watching the girls sit and be in awe of the colors in the sky.

More summer fun!!!

Another fun place this summer we have spent a lot of time at is the Spray Park! The girls love cooling off running through all the different sprinklers! It is so much fun!

Love the Lake!!

The favorite thing to do this summer has been to go to the lake. Abby can spend hours playing in the water and Hannah loves that she can sit in her chair on the beach and eat fruit and have snacks the whole time.

Hannah is so cute!! How can you miss those beautiful blue eyes and big cheeks!!! For as much as she is cute, smart and fun, she is also a handful!!! She is my spirited child. She loves big, feels big, laughs big and throws BIG fits!!! If things do not go her way! It does mean a lot of frustration for Mommy, and a lot of ignoring her until she comes around. I couldn't imagine life without my Hannah Banana!

Tea Party in the Park!

I signed up Abby for the Tea party at the park through parks and rec. Sioux Falls has so many great opportunities for kids in the summer! Abby had so much fun! They sang songs, made necklaces, and of course had tea and cakes. Hannah had fun tagging along trying to do everything like her big sissy!

Happy Father's Day!

We had a wonderful Father day this year!!! Every year I get a little sad that I don't get to spend the day with my Dad, but am reminded of all the love I do have in my life as I spend the day with my amazing hubby. We ended the day with a get together at his parents, where we had pizza and than all went swimming!

We took out the sprinkler for the first time this summer and the girls LOVED it!!! The night was filled with sounds of squeals as they ran and ran in the sprinkler.

Zippity Zoo Day!

We had planned to go to Zippity Zoo day at the park for weeks. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate - raining most of the day - there was a small break in the rain and we made it to the zoo in time to see Phil Baker sing, and get a ride on the carousel. The girls had fun, even if it wasn't what we planned!

Summer lovin'!!!

We have been spending as much time outside as possible this summer!!! We love to spend the morning at the park, playing, hanging out with friends, blowing bubbles, swinging, and of course snacking. Hannah was giving me attitude in this picture because we where leaving - she was not happy!
