The Sioux Falls

It was a beautiful night last night, so we took Abby to the Falls. She had not been there since she was a little baby, so it was a whole new experience.

She climbed on rocks, and kept yelling "WATER - WATER!!"

Of course we where a little nervous as she wanted to get close to the water, but that is Abby, she always keeps us on our toes!

Chuck-E-Cheese

The last couple weeks the weather has been really bad, it rained almost every day! Andrea, Mandee and I decided to take the girls to Chuck-E-Cheese to have some fun! Abby had the best time playing all the games and riding the rides. Her favorite was the Bozo the clown ball game and the carousel, and course the pizza!!!

We all had fun seeing family we haven't seen in a while at Chelsea's Graduation. It was a beautiful sunny day, and tehy had a yummy taco bar. Chelsea is doing really well, and we are so proud of her!

We found this really Yummy, small pizza place in the cities, and I am still craving the spaghetti from there!!!! We all loved it!

Minneapolis Trip

We had our first official "road trip" since Abby has been born. We went to Minneapolis for my cousin Chelsea's graduation party. We went a few days early for shopping and fun! Grandma Cheryl came along, and it was AWESOME, she was so helpful, and Abby had a blast playing with Grandma all weekend long also!

Abby loves all animals, but her favorite has to be kitty's!!! She loves her kitty Bobby, and she loves fully laying on him and using him as her personal pillow. Bobby doesn't love it - but he tolerates it and never fusses about it..he just sighs, and lays down...we are lucky to have such a good cat!

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a very special Mother's Day this year. Mother's day started with Abby and I having breakfast in bed, courtesy of Daddy. I got a very special card from Abby and Todd - homemade which in it - Abby tells me she loves me more than Pizza, and if you know Abby this is HUGE - she LOVES pizza!!! Todd gave me one free day of cleaning and a free car cleaning inside and out - which I know I will use!!!!

Later that day we got to out to eat at Royal Fork with Todd's Moms and family.

The next weekend my Mom came into town to watch Abby for the whole weekend while I had a rummage at my house. We got to take her out for a special dinner at Lone Star when she was here!

It was a great Mother's day, I felt so special and loved and appreciated for all I do, I couldn't have asked for a better day!

To Grandma's house we go....

Fun at the Pool!!!

My Mom planned a very special weekend for all of us - she booked a night at the Ramada Hotel with the very cool indoor water park. Abby is a fish and loves water, so she couldn't get enough of the pool!!!

She also had fun getting spoiled by all the family - including lots of tickles from Uncle Justin!

Brandon Loyalty Parade

The last few years we have had a blast going to the Brandon parade. The kids get TONS of candy (that Todd enjoys more than the kids I think) and there are all kinds of floats and cars, and bands. Abby really liked all the marching bands.
Abby's cousin Kinsey is also in the parade with her Dance team!!!!

The little things...

We have been super excited around our house lately as Abby has gotten the concept of not only peeing in the potty but also doing number 2!!! She is still a little young and doesn't say potty until she is in the middle of doing it in her diaper, but if I make an effort to put her on the potty during the day - she goes!!! It's so exciting!

The other day while walking into Target she was saying "POTTY!!" so I put her on the toilet when we got in and sure enough she had to go...

We haven't offially started "potty-training" we are just praising her a lot when she goes and making her think it's fun, and taking it day by day!

It's crazy how life changes..who would have thought - pee-pee in the potty would cause a huge celebration!!!

"I didn't do it"

Abby has her Daddys mischievous ways, and everytime she is quiet - I know something is up! This day I was folding laundry and didn't hear from her - when she finally came out - from where she was hiding she had stripped her shirt and pants off and had put them in the toilet! The look she is giving me is the "I didn't do it look" she always gives me when she knows she did something naughty! Darn her for being so cute even when she is causing trouble!

Recently Abby has found a new friend. A stuffed cat that she calls "kitty-cat" She doesn't anything without it! I think she likes it because unlike Bobby & Chance this cat can not run away!
