Hannah's new toy!

Hannah's favorite toy is her new Baby Einstein Exersaucer!
She loves it and it gives Mommy a few minutes with my hands free every day.

Hurray for nap time!

Abby has been fighting nap time lately - but she still REALLY needs a nap. Today (due to a great sale at Target) I told her if she napped I would have a surprise when she wakes up. She took a nap and I brought home a fun sand/water table. She really likes it and had a great time playing with it!

More fun with Grandma

We are truly spoiled and so blessed to have my Mom living so close by and also her loving us so much that she comes up and spends time with us! This weekend she came up and because of her we where able to get a ton of work done, and Todd and I went on a hot date (ok so it was errands and Famous Dave's for lunch). We haven't had a date in a LONG time so it was really nice. Saturday night Grandma took Abby to Pizza Ranch for pizza and to play games!! Abby really liked playing the ducky game. With the help of Mommy she got enough tickets to get a Dora ball and some little plastic puppy things!

Big girl!

My little Abby is growing up SO fast. She officially has mastered peddling her trike, and loves to ride her trike everywhere. She is so cute, and is getting so big, she doesn't even need me to push her around anymore and it kind of makes me sad...

Daddy working hard!

Todd spent all day Saturday in the garage and attic! He installed wood flooring in the attic, so we can store more up there (for some reason, the toys keep mulitplying in our house) he also cleaned and organized the garage. It was a lot of hard work, but we are proud of him, everything looks great!

Abby got a Dora umbrella (one of my good garage sale finds) and she got to try it out for the first time this week.

Fun with friends!

Sunday night we got together with friends to grill out and enjoy the nice weather (ok, so the weather didn't cooperate!) but it was a fun time anyways, we even managed to get in a few games of bean-bags before we had to go inside! Abby had a blast playing with her friends Audrey and Jenna, and it was fun to have our husbands finally meet! We look forward to doing it again!

Grandma to the rescue!

After our bad night Friday night - Grandma and Dave came up early Saturday to help us with hauling some stuff and we all also went to Chad's college graduation party (yay Chad!). We had such a good time with Grandma here - we convinced her (with lots of hugs from Abby) to stay the night. It was GREAT as usual! I got to go to Walmart - with no children, and Hannah wasn't even screaming when I got home!!! And than the cherry on top was Sunday morning she got up with Abby so that Todd and I could sleep in - I slept in till a little past 8:00AM - it was AWESOME!!!

Not so fun...

Friday was a not so fun night for us. When we where headed into Shopko (to waste some time before Daddy came home) Abby got her thumb slammed into a door. It was the hinge side of the door and it completely shut on her thumb. At acute care they took x-rays and it was not broken but hurt pretty bad! She has to keep it wrapped for at least a week, so that it can heal without getting infected, but other than that the only hard part is she can't use her right hand, and she is right handed! It hasn't really slowed our Abby down though - if you see us - make sure you ask her about her 'owie' she loves to tell everyone what happend!

We where getting ready for playgroup on Friday and I could not resist taking a few pictures of them together! It's so sweet to see how much Hannah lights up when she is around her big sister and how caring Abby is with Hannah.

Abby loves to read Hannah books, and I keep taking pictures of it because it's so cute!

My little princess

The many silly faces of my little princess! Abby has always been my little peanut, and Hannah is our little princess. I can't believe she is almost 5 months already! She is a great sleeper and a good baby. She is a total Mommies girl, and doesn't let Mommy get out of her sight (without throwing a fit anyways!) I love my little princess and feel so blessed everyday to have such beautiful girls.

Swimming!

We had planned to go to the park today and the weather did not cooperate, so we begged our friend Melody to let us come swimming at her place, and she agreed!!! So we packed up and went swimming! We had a GREAT time! Hannah went swimming for the first time and she LOVED it - she loved being in the water and didn't cry at all, she got cold a little but she didn't care! I think I have 2 little fishes who like to swim just like me!

Mother's Day part 4

The final fun of my Mother's Day weekend was spending it with the Anawski side of the family. We all had pizza at Terri & Reed's house. Abby had so much fun playing outside with her cousins! It was a perfect ending to a great weekend. We truly are so blessed to have such amazing Mother's in our lives!
