Girls just want to have fun!

Tiffani & Kairi and Me and the girls went to Robin's for dinner and to visit Rachael and Raylee before they went back to Arkansas!
The girls had a blast hanging out together, and us big girls had a great time too!

More fun!

They have a fun reading room at the butterfly house where the kids can read books, do puzzles and play games! The kids where all being silly and having a good time (even Audrich and Hannah got in on the action!)

Butterfly House...

Keeley, Abby, Hannah and I went to the Sertoma butterfly house with Mandee and the kids.
The girls had so much fun running around after the butterflies. They also had fun watching the fish in the pond. I asked Abby what her favorite part was and she told me "running on the bridge" with her friends.

Hannah wore some blue jeans for the first time, and we think she looked pretty cute!!!

T-Shirts or Snowpants?

It's Spring time here in South Dakota - one day your outside in a t-shirt and the next it's a blizzard!!! We experienced the spring blizzard this weekend! Abby had fun helping Daddy shovel snow. Even though it's fun, I am ready for NO snow!

Saturday fun

It was a snowy APRIL day here so we spent the day in our pj's taking naps and eating snacks!

Too Big....Too Little

Our house is FULL of baby gear! I just brought up the exersaucer for Hannah and Abby of course thought it was for her to play with!! We also brought up the highchair for Hannah and she looked so little in it!

Jelly beans....

Hannah got her first taste of jelly beans!!! I was in the kitchen throwing away a diaper when I heard Abby say "just a taste Hannah, just a taste" I ran back into the living room, to see Abby holding a jelly bean in Hannah's mouth.

After I freaked out making sure Hannah was not choking and did not have a mouthful of jelly beans, I had to laugh. Hannah's tongue was green, so she got a good taste. And she was having a bad day and for a whole 15 minutes she didn't cry, so she must have liked it!

Easter Party Fun!!

We had a blast at the Mom's Club Easter Party! There where egg hunts, hat decorating contest, parade, and lots of yummy cupcakes and cookies! Abby was not to thrilled with the Easter Bunny (white knuckled frightened more like it...lol) but Hannah had no problem getting cozy his lap!

Hannah is 3 months old already!!!! She has been doing really well. She seems to have recovered from the virus she had and with some diet restrictions on my part her tummy seems to be doing a lot better. She is a great nurser and an even better sleeper! She takes a lot of 'cat' naps during the day - but she sleeps through the night (I am almost afraid to say this out loud) so we are not complaining. This week we even moved her into her crib, and she is doing great! Abby loves having her in the room with her, and is always really quiet when she wakes up so she doesn't wake up Hannah. She still doesn't love her carseat but she has been doing a lot better since she figured out how to suck her thumb while laying on her back in her car seat!

Abby is 2 1/2 and doing great! She loves reading books, and playing with her friends. Her favorite days are the days we watch her cousin Keeley, they have a blast playing together. She loves all things princess, and dressing up - but also likes to play in the dirt and get dirty. she is my 'busy' little girl, and I love it!

Fun Weekend so far!

This weekend has been a busy one so far - and lots of fun!

Friday night Daddy and Abby went to the Skyforce game together. Dakota Dads (www.dakotadads.com) put together this events for Dad's to take their kids to the game! Dave took his kids, Abby's friend Audrey and her Dad went and Abby and Todd! Everyone came over to our house for pizza first (thanks Mom!) than the guys and the kids where off. Abby had so much fun! She ate popcorn and danced to the music, and talked a lot about the big 'bear' (I am assuming it's the mascot..I think it's a wolf though...lol) They had a great time.

Saturday morning when Abby woke up I asked her what she wanted to today. Her first response was "play with Grandma Cheryl!" So, I called up my Mom and told her we where going to visit. Hannah, Abby and I loaded up and hit the road. We went to lunch at the fun coffee shop in Flandreau, we played outside, and Grandma and Abby made brownies. Hannah even had a great day, she was giggling away playing pat-a-cake with Grandma, it was so cute! I love spending time at Mom and Dave's, I get spoiled, and they cook yummy food and I don't have to do any of the work!

My friend Mandee makes awesome hair clips for little girls. She also just started selling and making these awesome headbands with exchangeable and ADORABLE flower clips! She made her first one for Hannah to model!! It is so cute! check it out her website http://clipsforcuties.weebly.com/

Good News!

I just received the phone call from Dr. McKercher regarding Hannah's CT scan.

The results are good!!! There is no sign of craniosynostosis!

She does have a smaller soft spot that we will need to monitor, but as long as her head keeps growing ok (like it has) we have nothing to worry about!

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers!!! It's been a rough few weeks!!
