new chair and new bike!

Daddy spent some time putting together stuff in the garage today! I had got the rocking chair brand new (in the box) at a rummage before Abby was born, and it's the perfect size for her right now, she immediately brought it in her room and started reading books in it.

The princess bike below she got for a Christmas gift from her cousins. It has finally been warm enough to play outside and use her bike! She loved it. She needs to grow just one more inch or so to reach the pedals, but she loves it.

Dinner out!

Saturday night we had dinner out with Grandma, Justin and Holly!

Saturday it was so nice outside, we spent almost the whole day outside! Abby had the most fun at the park! She could swing all day long. Hannah loves being outside also, the fresh air almost always puts her to sleep.

Hannah does really well with tummy time. Abby didn't like tummy time much when she was little, but Hannah really enjoys it! She was having a good time reading her little book, and it looked so cute of course I had to take a picture! She started rolling from her tummy to her back this week also, so when she gets tired of her tummy, she just rolls over and starts sucking her thumb!

Fun with friends!

Thursday night was a GREAT night! Daddy had to work late Thursday night, so to keep us company Tiffani and Kairi came over to visit. We had lots of fun - We ate pizza, played, and the girls even tooks a bubble bath together! After they left, Abby curled up next to me and watched Barney on her little DVD player while I watched Grey's Anatomy. It was a great night!

If it is a sunny, nice day - you can find us outside!!! The whole family loves to play outside! As Spring gets closer - we get more excited for summer time and playing outside every day!

Taking comfort....

A special thank you to all of our friends and family as they not only pray for us this week but also spend time with us distracting us until Hannah's CT Scan on Monday! As we have been talking about it we have heard several stories and talked to people who have been where we are! It seems this is a lot more common than we thought! We are taking comfort in the fact that a lot of people we talk to have little ones who have been tested, and did not have it!! The doctors just have to make sure! Thanks again for all your prayers, we feel confident that on Monday we will find out everything is ok!!

Fun at the Zoo

It was another beautiful day outside, so we packed a picnic lunch and headed to the zoo! We met up with Theresa and the girls and had an awesome time outside! We looked at animals, than had lunch and played at the park! Even Hannah had a good time, even though she fell asleep!

Hannah doesn't let me get far away from her lately, or maybe it's the other way around!

Prayers for Hannah

We had an extensive appointment with Hannah's pediatrician today regarding an appointment with another doctor this weekend where he noticed Hannah's soft spot on her head seems to be already closing.

Hannah had a rough morning of blood work and test to get to the root of her problem, she seems to be just fine, and than will have these huge bursts of screaming where she seems to be in a lot of pain. Until now we thought it was related to tummy issues, and it may still be, but it also could be due to something called Craniosynostosis. It is caused when the soft spot closes too early and it causes pressure on the brain, and that could be causing her pain.

We have a CT scan with the pediatric radiologist at the Sanford children's hospital on Monday at 7:30AM. We would have it done this week but the one and only radiologist who specializes in peds is out this week on vacation.

We do take comfort in the fact that her head so far is measuring good for her size and that gives us hope that things are ok so far, and that everything might be ok! Please pray that we make it through this week without so much worry, and that the CT scan on Monday shows that her soft spot is not actually fusing together yet. If it is in fact Craniosynostosis she will have to have surgery on her head, and this is really scary to Mommy and Daddy!!!

Hannah's tummy troubles!

hannah has had some tummy problems this last week. We have taken her to the doctor a couple times, and they keep telling me it's her reflux. We just keep praying that it goes away soon, as it really seems to really be bothering our little Hannah Banana!

Lucky for us 'Super Grandma' and Grandpa Dave came up to help this weekend!!!! They helped out so much, from making dinner to taking Abby to the park to taking a turn walking with Hannah, I honestly could not have made it through the weekend without them. I love my Mom so much and can only hope some day to be as good of a Mom as she is to me!
