Christmas Eve Mass

Christmas Eve we celebrated Jesus Birthday at Christmas Eve service at Christ the King church with Grams and Gramps Anawski. This is a special tradition we enjoy as Todd went to this church as a kid, and always went to Christmas Eve service here. Abby looked so cute all dressed up in her Christmas dress!

Christmas - Part 1

The first Christmas celebration we celebrated was with my side of the family. Mom, Dave and the kids came up and where so nice as to bring the meal to us so that I didn't have to cook!!!

We all had lots of fun opening presents, as you can tell - Todd was even super excited about his socks, and the special big smile from Abby was when she opened her personalized Barney CD (she was way more thrilled than Mommy and Daddy who have now had to listen to it over and over and over again!)

Christmas Party!

The Mom's club Christmas Party was so much fun! Abby had a blast making her wreath, and running around with the other kids! I (of course) enjoyed all the yummy food!!!!

The party was at the Westward Ho country club, and everything was so beautiful!


Abby actually got close to Santa when he visited the party. She wouldn't sit on his lap, but she accepted a candy cane from him, gave him a high five and told him she wanted baby dolls for Christmas!

Kindermusik Graduation

Abby just finished a semester of Kindermusik. She has been in a couple Kindermusik sessions starting when she was about 6 months. She has loved every minute of it! She loves the singing, dancing and interacting with friends. She has always been in classes with the same teacher also - Mrs. Becky - Mrs. Becky has been an amazing teacher!

We are not sure when we will be able to do Kindermusik again with the new little one on the way, but we will for sure try! Check out the website http://kindermusikofsiouxfalls.kindermusik.net/ - It's lots of fun and Abby and I totally recommend it!

Merry Christmas 2008

Cold, cold, cold but fun!!!

The also had carousel rides and sleigh rides, it was really cold, but Abby had lots of fun on the carousel ride anyways!!! We warmed up after some hot-chocolate, so all in all it was a great time!

Breakfast with Santa!

We all had lots of fun at Breakfast with Santa at the Zoo today!! Abby was a little nervous to sit on Santa's lap - so we all went up to see Santa together!

Abby was in a lovey mood as we got ready to go to the Zoo this morning for Breakfast with Santa! I couldn't resist taking pictures, so someday when she is a teenager and hates us we can remind her that at one time all she wanted was hugs and kisses from Mommy and Daddy!

36 Weeks pregnant!

I still am having a hard time believing that I am 36 weeks pregnant! Even though my stomach, stretch marks, crazy emotions, and sore back tells me it's true!

36 week appointment I am measuring about 37 weeks, I am dilated to a 1.5 and I am 80% effaced, so baby is doing what she needs to to come into this world in the next month!

We are still really hoping and praying she makes her appearance after Christmas!!! Wish us luck!

Thankful!

This Thanksgiving we have so much to be thankful for....

A healthy pregnancy - even though it could have been scary with the 2 cord vessell issue. It was scary at first, but we believe all the prayers have made everything better than we could have imagined.

All of our friends who keep us sane, whether it's an all night talk-fest or playing tennis - we love our friends!

Our family - we are truly blessed to have the most part of our family living so close by. We never have to search hard for a babysitter, and it means the world to us to have Abby be so close to everyone, when we are saying prayers at night she always has to go through and name her cousins in her blessings!

I am also very thankful for my wonderful husband. He provides a lovely home, and life for us, and we love him for everything he does, from taking out the trash, to special 'horsey' rides with Abby. My dreams have came true, because of him!

We also celebrated my brother and Holly's birthdays which is the 27th of November!

Thanksgiving - part 2!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my side of the family this weekend! We had so much food, and lots of fun!
