Our Baby Girl :o)

On August 17th we had an ultrasound to check on our little peanut, she was doing really well, kicking away and happy! The ultrasound tech kept saying she was sure going to be a talker, as she kept opening and closing her mouth - but not sticking her thumb in like most babies do! It was cute! She must have some of her Mommy's personality - if she is going to be a a talker!!! lol Babies Foot
Side Profile
She turned and looked at the screen in this pic, and when they took the picture she started opening her mouth - so it looks kind of funny - I think she looks like a little monkey in this pic!! When everyone sees this picture, they say she has Mommy's "pug" nose! Posted by Picasa

32 Weeks

Yesterday was my 32 week appointment! Things are coming along well. Heart rate was at 150, belly measured at 33. The Doctor has decided to start me on non-fetal stress tests twice a week until further notice, just to make sure that the baby is under no stress, due to some of the placenta problems I have had. I had the first one yesterday and it was good, they basically moniter babies heart rate and make sure she is moving around happily in my belly, and so far she is doing great!

As always keep us in your thoughts and prayers to keep our little one "cooking" in mommys belly as long as possible! So far she is doing excellent and we want to keep it that way!

Nursery Pics!

Our Nursery is really coming along, and I wanted to share with everyone the pictures! Thanks to Todd's AMAZING job painting the walls and the furniture, and Tiffani's help organizing where things go, it really looks great! I am still working on finding a lamp, curtains, and a rug, but other than that as far as nursery furniture we are set!! We ordered a rocking chair, that should be here by the end of the month also!

We just can't wait till she is here, and in this room!! We are getting so excited and nervous at the same time! Every day, I have to go into this room and arrange the clothing, or straighten the bedding, just out of excitement!

Thanks again to all of my friends and family who helped me pick out the nursery decor, as I struggled with this!! Special thanks to my Mom & Dave as they purchased the changing table and crib for us, and thanks to my Grandma and Mom for purchasing the baby bedding and beautiful quilt you see on the wall!!! I don't know what we would do with out all of you!!!!

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend was a fun one for Todd and I, we spent a lot of time working on our nursery and getting projects done at home, but took some time out on Sunday to go to Sioux City. I was so excited just to do some shopping somewhere else, and then of course to go eat at Carlos O Kelly's!!!! We also took some time for me to go visit Brian's grave....which I really wanted to do, I still can't believe he won't be here to see my baby when she is born! He would have been so excited, and he would have been an amazing grandpa figure to our little girl...

Home projects!!!

We have been keeping really busy this month working on several projects around the house, I am so proud of my husband, as he has really turned out to be Mr. Handy Man!! He has so far this month, installed a ceiling fan in our bedroom, put together a huge armoire & end tables, painted baby furniture, and painted the nursery.

With me being on bed-rest I have not been a huge help, more of a supervisor..hehehehe, I did get to help tape the nursery before he painted, and helped hand tools to him on the ladder when he was working on the ceiling fan!

So, stop on by and see all of his hard work anytime, he loves to show it off!!!

30 Weeks and Counting....

30 weeks! Wow - it's all happening so fast. My 30 week appointment went well - she is measuring at 31.5, which is great, heart rate is great, and things have been going well.

For all of you who didn't know - like I didn't - you can start to have contractions when your at 26 weeks - when your exercising, moving around a lot, etc. Well I was haivng some of these and after a non-fetal stress test, we found out our little peanut doesn't like when I have these contractions (her heart rate drops a little). So I was put on full bed rest for one week, and now am on partial bed rest...I basically can work, if I keep my feet up, and don't over do it, no heavy lifting, lots of rest. So right now I am taking it easy, trying to keep the contractions away. I have had a few since, but baby is doing wonderful still. So keep us in your thoughts and prayers that it stays that way, as we are excited to see our baby girl, but not for another 10 weeks! Posted by Picasa

Skyelar's Visit

This weekend we got to have a visitor at the Anawski house. My Godson Skyelar came to visit us for the weekend!! My Aunt Justine, her husband JR and Skyelar live in New Jersey so we do not get to see them often. We got to do lots of fun things with Skeylar! Having an almost 2 year old definitly kept Todd and I on our toes! For those of you who don't know my Godson has severe Hemophilia, it was a challenge for Todd and I to keep this rambunctious little boy from getting to many bumps and scrapes, but he did really well and we managed to send him home with no accidents!! We had lots of fun with Skyelar and we miss him already!

Tuesday August 1, 2006

Busy, busy, busy!! That is Todd and I! This weekend we had a busy one.

Friday night, Mom, Me, Todd, Justin and Holly all met for dinner at Tailgators in Brandon (was super yummy!!!) And then Mom and I went to a play in Brandon. The Prairie Repertory Theatre was doing a play called "Social Security" It was a really good play, the actors where great!

On Saturday I had Lily all day while her family was moving into their new place. It was also Lily's 2nd Birthday so I took her to do lots of fun things, we hung out at Chuckee Cheese, and went swimming, all kind of fun stuff! While I was out having fun with Lily - Todd spent all day priming all the baby furniture getting ready to paint (although the Cubs game was conveniently on also, so he didn't mind too much)

Sunday was another busy day - I spent the day running errands, grocery shopping, visiting my Dad, etc. And Todd spend the day painting the baby furniture!! He was a little sore by Sunday night, but the furniture looked great and he still managed to help me clean up around the house (he's becoming an excellent duster and vacuumer!).

That was a recap of our busy weekend!!! Nothing else too exciting going on - we are just getting excited to start working on the nursery, hopefully will be picking out paint color for the room this weekend! We got the baby bedding delivered last week also, and we LOVE It!!! It's perfect! Thanks to Grandma and Momma Dziobecki for getting us the baby bedding!

As always, we keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers, and we hope that you can keep praying for us, as our time closes in - three months till baby!!!!
